AES writing enthusiasts show off their talent

     AES writing enthusiasts showed off their writing skills in a writing competition, as part of the 40th Foundation Anniversary celebration, which was supervised by the Muslim Youth for Charity on October 22, 2022, at the audiovisual room.

     The Writing Competition started in the afternoon alongside the Singing Competition. Norjannah Malawani, the Muslim Youth for Charity President, gave her short message and presented all the participants of the competition. Each division was given a theme and a designated writing style. The Beginners Division was tasked to copy the poem "The Giant." The Primary Division was assigned to write an essay about the topic "My School." The Intermediate Division was asked to do feature writing with the topic "AES: Mighty @ 40." While the Junior Division, wrote a news article about the "Intramurals 2022." And the Senior Division was assigned to write an essay about the topic "Sir Ed in the Sky with Diamonds."

     On October 25, 2022, the winners of the said competition were announced. In the Beginners Division, Fareed Madid from Kindergarten A-Olivia Rodrigo was declared the champion, Abdel Pendaliday from Nursery-Olivia Rodrigo was declared first runner-up, and Satria Ibrahim from Kindergarten A-Olivia Rodrigo was declared second runner-up. The Primary Division had Faatin Al-Zahrani from Grade 2-Michael Cinco as the champion, followed by Khairiyah Sharief from Grade 3-Brillante Mendoza as the first runner-up, and Potre Sambarani from Grade 1-Jed Madela as the second runner-up. The Intermediate Division had Zaim Naga from Grade 6-Cecile Licad as the champion, followed by Rain Hermoso from Grade 4-Jaclyn Jose as the first runner-up, and Mica Escander from the same class as the second runner-up. The Junior Division then had Aleesah Isra from Grade 9-Carlos Romulo as the champion, Misha Candao from Grade 7-Manny Pacquiao as the first runner-up, and Obaid Usop from the same class as the second runner-up . And in the Senior Division, Francis Ang from Grade 12-Maria Ressa was declared the champion, Airah Macagaan from Grade 11-Hidilyn Diaz was declared the first runner-up, and Fatima Abdul from Grade 10-Lea Salonga was declared the second runner-up.

     All things considered, it was undeniable that everyone who participated gave their all. That was indeed a great opportunity for the Einsteinians to exhibit and at the same time enhance their ardent zeal in writing.
