“Beauty is subjective, and giving it a runway and a stage to display one’s elegance is a practice of artistic innovation and expression.”
Sophistication. Extravagance. Eloquence. These were some of the words that encapsulated this year’s Mr. and Ms. Foundation Anniversary as it took place on a virtual space.
This grandiose event was a collaboration of the La Liga Filipina and the Senior Class Association officers. Yasmeen Hana Maliga, the SCA President, and Niesha Xyzcoir Sabang, the Grade 9 LLF Vice President hosted the aforementioned event.
As the program continued, the invocation was led by the Grade 10 Vice President of the La Liga Filipina, Datu Rashad Ampatuan, and Kiara Abasolo, the Grade 10 Vice President of the Religious Youth in Action. The LLF President was then called on by the Masters of Ceremony, to lead the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. She then gave her opening remarks, together with Yasmeen Maliga. All of the divisions were assigned with unique themes which became the bases of their attires. These themes were Disney-inspired attires for the Beginners Division, Mindanao-inspired attires for the Primary Division, Visayan-inspired attires for the Intermediate Division, Luzon-inspired attires for the Junior Division, and Met Gala attires for the Senior Division.
As the pageant began, the candidates showed off their exquisiteness, poise, and eloquence on stage as they grooved the dance floor and walked on the stage with so much elegance and sophistication. After showing off themselves on stage, the judges’ gave their verdicts on who stood out in the competition. Aishelina Mangudadatu of Kinder AM was crowned Ms. Albert Einstein School. She also won Ms. Photogenic, and Best in Production Number awards. Ateeyah Usman of Kinder PM won the Ms. Foundation Anniversary title. She also got the Best in Long Gown and received the Most Creative Headdress and Face Mask. Datuharon Bandila of Kinder AM, was announced Mr. Foundation Anniversary. He also received Mr. Photogenic, Most Creative Headdress and Face Mask, Best in Production Number, and Best in Suit awards.
In the Primary Division, Ashnea Mangudadatu of Grade 1-Freedom, won Ms. Supermodel, and Best in Production Number award. Yasseer Manalasal of Grade 3-Pultrichude was hailed Mr. Supermodel who also won the Most Creative Headdress and Face Mask award. The Mr. and Ms. Albert Einstein School titles were received by Hana Abdulkadil of Grade 3-Pultrichude, who also won the Most Creative Headdress and Face Mask award, and Akeem Edzla of Grade 1-Freedom, who got the Best in Barong award. The coveted titles, Mr. and Ms. Foundation Anniversary, were respectively given to the representatives of Grade 2-Diligence, Adan Juanday, who was the Mr. Photogenic and Best in Production Number awardee, and his partner, Sofia Andamen, who won the Best in Long Gown Number and Ms. Photogenic awards.
The Intermediate Division took us to a new level as they showed us their innovative Visayan-inspired suits and dresses. The Mr. and Ms. Supermodel were the representatives from Grade 5-Knowledge, Zaim Naga and Putri Andoy, who both of them received the Best in Production Number awards. The Mr. and Ms. Albert Einstein School were given to Nizam Juanday of Grade 4-Peace, who won the Best in Barong award, and Shaziah Sinsuat of Grade 6-Justice, who won the Most Creative Headdress and Face Mask, and Best in Long Gown awards. Zedrick Sinsuat, who received the Most Creative Headdress and Face Mask, and Mr. Photogenic awards, was hailed the Mr. Foundation Anniversary, together with the Grade 4-Peace’s female candidate, Princess Kader, who won the Ms. Photogenic award and who was announced Ms. Foundation Anniversary.
In the Junior Division, James Chan and Zartaj Casim of Grade 8-Fealty class were announced the Mr. and Ms. Supermodels. Both of them received the Best in Production Number awards. The Grade 9-Valor’s candidates were both the recipients of the Mr. and Ms. Albert Einstein School titles. Ansar Cuevas got the Mr. Photogenic and Best in Barong awards while his partner, Jyeshta Sinsuat, won the Ms. Photogenic award. The most sought-after crowns, Mr. and Ms. Foundation Anniversary, were given to their rightful owners. The Mr. Foundation Anniversary was Anwar Macalawan Jr. of Grade 7-Glory who received the Most Creative Headdress and Face Mask award while the Ms. Foundation Anniversary was Zharean Ante of Grade 7-Glory. She received the Most Creative Headdress and Face masks and the Best in Long Gown awards.
The Senior Division brought the heat to the stage as all of the candidates were really eager to win the different awards. The Mr. and Ms. Supermodel and Best Production awards were taken by the Grade 12-Loyalty’s candidates, Princess Maliga and Aiman Lintang. The Mr. and Ms Albert Einstein School titles were bestowed upon Prince Mohammad of Grade 10-Honor, who won Mr. Photogenic award, and Hera Masmodi of Grade 11-Integrity, who received the Most Creative Headdress and Face Mask. Datu Andal Ampatuan VI of Grade 11-Integrity, who won the Most Creative Headdress and Facemask and Best in Suit awards, was announced Mr. Foundation Anniversary. Shayra Sinsuat of Grade 10-Honor, who won Ms. Photogenic and Best in Long Gown awards, was hailed the Ms. Foundation Anniversary.
